For Other Lawyers

If you have a potential product-liability case and want to pick my brain, just ask.  I won’t pressure you into referring the case to me, although I won’t complain if you do choose to do so.  I’ve got a pretty good collection of documents from most of the active pharma dockets and will be happy to share them or my knowledge with you.  What matters to me is that injured citizens get a good result.  If I can help  make that happen, I’ll do so, even if it doesn’t put any money in my pocket.

I also welcome the opportunity to be part of any appeals that you may have.  Bad lawyering leads to bad law, and it’s therefore in my best interest to make sure that no plaintiffs’ lawyer files a bad appellate brief in any product liability lawsuit.  As luck would have it, I really enjoy appellate work, so please contact me if you think you could use some help on a brief.  Unless the brief is due tomorrow.

Finally, if you’ve written something you think I’d be interested in, let me know.  Even if you’re a competitor, I’ll link to you if you wrote something useful.  (That means I won’t link to a keyword-stuffed press release, but I will link to an article that someone will actually find useful.)  I’m also open to guest posts (here or at your blog) if we may complement each other.

I’ve been reading your blog for the past 2 hours (while I should be working) and I have to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy it. I am a person injury attorney in Grand Prairie, TX and I’m doing some research on generic drug suits. It’s obvious that there’s no way to bring a failure to warn claim agaist a generic manufacturer if harmed by a generic drug, but what about a defective design claim? Texas wont allow one to sue the “innovator” for anything if someone did not actually take their brand-name drug, and a defective design claim against a generic manufacturer seems like it wouldn’t work because the generic manufacturer didn’t design the drug. But there has to be a way to make someone pay if a person was injured by taking a generic! Please tell me there’s something I haven’t found that would allow a claim… I appreciate your time
